Personal

I am an Electrical and Computer Engineering 2026 graduate from Cornell University with a deep passion for bridging the gap between low-level hardware physics and high-level software architecture. I was born and raised in The Woodlands, TX, constantly being exposed to engineering and technology due to my father's background, and my own exposure in school.

It all started in the 5th grade when a buddy of mine lended me a book on Python Programming for kids. I learned basic syntax to write my own fun little command line programs. This later influenced me to pick up web development. At the time, I had no idea what I was doing, but the pleasure in seeing my screen update by changing 'index.html', 'global.css', and 'script.js' had me hooked for hours. Eventually, I went on to join my high school's robotics team, which is where I realized that coding wasn't everything there was to engineering. Alongside an amazing group of individuals, we custom built a game-winning robot using specific pathfinding algorithms and clever mechanical design.

This made me realize that I wanted to be much more hands on and building things, which is why I chose my respective degree. Truthfully, I have no regrets, and I am very lucky to have found that passion so early on.

Technical Focus

My engineering focus lies primarily in digital logic, VLSI design, and building custom software toolchains to accelerate hardware workflows.

Something I've realized about myself is that I thrive in workflows when I have access to the entire stack: From Fermi-Dirac statistics and what drives current in semiconductor materials to designing this site using Next.JS and Vercel.

  • Hardware: Full-custom standard cell layout, parasitic extraction, FPGA/CPLD programming, and embedded firmware (Raspberry Pi Pico and Arduino).
  • Software: Python (Data extraction and visualization libraries like Maestro.py), C (Graphics and Physics Simulators), and React/Next.js.
  • Tools: Cadence Virtuoso, Quartus, AMD Vivado, Next.JS, Vercel.

Hobbies & Activities

There are many things I enjoy doing outside of engineering. At the age of 8, I started playing the viola and have continued ever since, later picking up the violin, piano, and guitar. In fact, I studied violin performance for 3 years at Cornell! The passion I have for teaching really started settling in here as well, since I got the opportunity to teach at the original store I began at. Beyond that, I was am undergraduate TA for PHYS 1112 at Cornell, as well.

Something else that I began to love during my time in Ithaca, NY, was the natural beauty of what surrounded me. This prompted me to pick up hiking quite often, even hitting trails in Maine, Vermont, and New Hampshire! I also come from a skateboarding background, which gave me the ability to ease into snowboarding during my Senior year. As someone who has always loved weather and global climate phenomena, I realized I found a passion in geospatial simulations and understanding global weather data, which is where my hobbies tie into my technical skills.
